Why Rent from SMART?
As a not-for-profit organization, the SMART Foundation has a vision of “Music & Arts Education for All Children”. Our goal is to make sure music and art remain a part of our children’s education. By renting your instrument from SMART you are helping us to fulfill this goal.Funding for Music Programs
SMART uses income generated from the rental instrument program to fund music and arts advocacy efforts throughout our local communities and states. Schools can earn income for their programs directly by becoming a SMART Partner through the Instrument Rental Partnership Program. Renting an instrument is easy and can be done from your home with our NEW On-line Instrument Rental Process. For students in SMART Partner Schools, rented instruments will be delivered to the school for your child’s first lesson. Ask your band/orchestra director or select “SMART Partners Info” for details.You may also visit our office if you need help completing the rental process. If you wish to pick up your instrument or if you complete your rental order after your school’s delivery date, please call or email us (info@smartfoundation.org) so that your instrument can be waiting for you.
