Instrument Partnership Donor Program
Program Outline:
Due to the current economic crisis schools are being forced to close music
programs because of a lack of proper funding. SMART has developed a unique
musical instrument program that provides sustained, reoccurring income
for school music programs. The program is simple, and turns a need students have
for musical instruments into an opportunity to generate funding for their own
music programs.
*An average sized school district can generate as much as $140,000 per
year for their music programs!
Donor Opportunities:
There are two ways donors can participate in this unique program:
- Provide Funding to purchase instruments
Every $20,000 donated will provide:
100 NEW instruments
$9000 annual income for music programs
100 students served
*With a 15 year
life span on these instruments, 1500 students will be served while providing
$135,000 for their
music programs!
- GIFT Program (Granting Instruments, Fulfilling Talent)
Through GIFT SMART provides instruments to underprivileged students at
reduced rates. Charges are based on individual need (Note: at SMART we
believe that commitment comes through responsibility… no matter how small.)
Every $5,000 donation to the GIFT Program will provide instruments for 25
students in need each year or 375 students over the 15 year life span of the
instruments.
